Logic tells us that if “we keep doing what we are doing the way we have been doing it, we shall keep getting what we have gotten the way we have gotten it.” It is unreasonable to expect different results from the same kind of behavior. Obviously a change in attitude and conduct is required. This is the faith that overcomes the world.
One does not live long before discovering the disappointment of life. Sooner or later, someone somewhere, whether inadvertently or by malicious intent, will cause you to be offended. The Greek word for offence is skandalizo. Its literal meaning is to entrap, trip-up or to cause to trip. The words scandal and scandalize are derived from this word. If you find yourself in similar circumstances, this course is for you. A life filled with purpose, satisfaction and a sense of well-being is the rightful heritage of every child of God. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.(Ephesians 2:10)
